Carolina Vilao

Carolina Vilao is a goalkeeper from Lisbon, Portugal. She came through at two of Portugal’s biggest clubs, Sporting CP and SL Benfica, before playing abroad with Wellington Phoenix in New Zealand and Hearts of Midlothian in Scotland.

Carolina has two brothers — one younger and one older — and it was her older brother who inspired her to play football. Away from the pitch she loves spending time at the beach, and after a year in Scotland she is looking forward to her first season in Cyprus.
