Georgia Xenofontos

Georgia Xenofontos is a forward from Paphos whose career has spanned Cyprus, the United States, Spain, Northern Ireland and Australia, including spells with the University of Central Florida, Glentoran FC and Sunshine Coast Wanderers. She was drawn to Peyia-Akamas Ladies FC by the chance to help develop women’s football in the Paphos area — and by the prospect of playing alongside old teammates again. Her ambitions for the season are to be the best she can be, support the team and be successful.

Georgia comes from a family of big football fans: her father played the game and her mum is an avid Mexico supporter. Away from the pitch she works at her family’s café in Paphos and likes to surf and meet friends.
